Welcome to Springboro Youth Basketball

Springboro Youth Basketball (SYB) is a community based volunteer organization that creates positive opportunities for youth to develop personal and technical skills through a comprehensive program of recreational and competitive basketball.

SYB has "select" or "competitive" teams for boys and girls in grades 3-6 and a "recreational" program for grades K-6. The "select" program provides an opportunity for the boys and girls to play teams of the same age group from around the Miami Valley. The "select" teams will practice two times a week and play approximately 20 regular season games. There will be an end of year tournament that starts at the end of February and ends no later than the first week of March. The "recreational" program runs from December through March. It is less competitive but still offers boys and girls the opportunity to have fun and learn the game. The normal routine for the "recreational" teams is one practice and one game per week.
